Luxury Car without the Luxury price. by Rita on 06/08/2011. Trim: 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS, Owned 7 years.
Pros: I like the luxury of the vehicle, how well it handles on the highway, very quite and comfortable. It looks good also.
Overall review: The Toyota Avalon is a well made vehicle. It appears to be style for Females. There are areas "pockets" in the car for storing things that other cars don't have. It drives very well and is good on gas!

Good investment by Cattman on 08/26/2010. Trim: 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS, Owned 7 years.
Pros: I'm 6'4 and love the ride, comfort and room inside. Bought it new in Oct 03 and have put 120,000 miles on it. It still drives great! I get about 25 to 26 mpg on the highway with regular gas and 28 to 29 with premium. Only problem in all those years was an O2 senser went out.
Overall review: Very good cars for the money!

Not too impressed! by Carpoint fan on 04/30/2004. Trim: 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: The so called Toyota reliability, smooth engine and amenitiesc suked me in.
Cons: Handling is sloppy, engine is a torqueless wonder, transmission is still a 4 speed and not very well behaved, the dash is designed like a early nineties american car, and why does Toyota not use the newer more powerfull 3.3 engine from the minivan and camry. I mean come on, they can charge 34k for this thing so I expect to get the best of everything. I also expect the car to start in the Winter which this thing has had several dealer trips to correct the no-start problem!
Overall review: Not too impressed overall!

The four golf bag trunk by Adam in sunny Florida on 01/24/2004. Trim: 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS, Owned less than 1 year.
Pros: Peppy, sport car acceleration.Very quiet ride. Steering wheel styling (leather trimmed) sold it for my other half. Amazing tunk space.
Cons: The "Multi-information Display" lights up in a unsettling bright blue. It would have looked much more compatible had it matched the pale yellow-green of the transmission position indicator.
Overall review: I love this car. I don't have enough miles on it to speak about its reliability but expect it to be in keeping with the rest of its qualities. I can easily fit four golf bags in the trunk without sqishing the last one in.

Super Sedan by Kay from PA on 11/29/2013. Trim: 2004 Toyota Avalon XLS, Owned 9 years.
Pros: The car is quiet, smooth, and a pleasure to drive. Although it's nearly 9 years old, it's required only routine maintenance. The seats are comfortable and the size is perfect--plenty of room for five passengers. The back seat is absolutely spacious.
Cons: I can't think of a bad word to say about the car. It's flawless.
Overall review: If you are in the market for a used car, this could be a great choice.
